This year will be the 2008 5th Annual "Win Clays Chopper"... The biggest & best benifit bike run & party in the Pittsburgh area... This year it will benifit:
Opperation Troop Appreciation,(OTA) a non-political, non-partisan organization whose mission is to ease the burden of deployment on our troops by providing "wish list" items that demonstrate our support and appreciation for their selfless and daily sacrifices... Since the incorporation in 2004, OTA has provided more than 27,000 Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines with these items that ease the burden of long deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan... Now, more than ever, support from the home front is needed and OTA relies on your kind generosity as we reach out to our brave heroes...
If you have been to "Win Clays Chopper" events in the past you know that it is growing faster than expected!!! Last year there was almost 700 bikes & over 1,000 people on the bike run, & at the party there was well over 2,200 people... I think we will be able to make a great impact on OTA's "wish list" for the troops!!! To say the least it is getting too big to have it at the same location so this year the party will be held at the Rostraver Ice Garden... The Ice Garden is a indoor venue that will seat up to 5,000 for a great live concert... Plus you will not have to worry about the rain!!! Well I hope to see you there so keep the shiny side up & the rubber side down...
